Kuala Terengganu, Malaysia »

Arrived in Kuala Terengganu. It's a short three hour bus ride from Kuantan. The hotel was not far from the bus station, I was lucky. Ping Anchorage Hotel. 20 Ringgit a night, private double bed, good mattress and clean. That's just over 6 dollars a night. I think I will stay here a day or two longer, edit some photos and post.

Photo: Kuala Terengganu, Malaysia. Actually it's funny - even local buses look like a mosque. I read that Kuala Terengganu is quite Muslim, and it's true. Especially now, during the month of Ramadan.

Photo: Kuala Terengganu, Malaysia. And the note about being closed. There is basically no food available till noon. Then some small shops will open. But the majority of people here eat around 7 pm, one time a day for the whole month.

Tomorrow I will go to Marang - a small city where they have a nice market on Sunday. I also want to check out the boats to Kapas Island.
My life has always been about freedom and I shall continue to walk this path.
