Continuing my boat trip to Siem Reap (the beginning), we are still in the populated area.

Photo:  Boat trip: Battambang to Siem Reap, Cambodia → Sometimes were passing a small bridge. Since most of the transport in this area seems to be done by boat, I don't think they will build any big ones in the near future, unless there will be need for a major national road.

These very shallow wooden boats seem miraculously take the waves and never anything bad happens. I have seen many local waiting for the waves and then laugh as their boats rock back and forth. I really like their attitude.
