After dealing with the crazy monkeys I went to the beach. There is a park next to it, with juice stalls and a bunch of restaurants on the beach. Facing the ocean you turn left, and that's where they are. And the beach extends a long way beyond that. You can leave all the busy area behind and be alone away from all the people. Especially good at night. I went for a swim :)

Photo: Songhkla, Thailand. The beach is actually really nice. The kites are not the only thing they sell there. There are people, like this one, selling boiled eggs and egg shells filled with egg and fish paste. They make a hole in the egg shell, empty it, and pour the liquid paste inside. Then, they boil them or roast over fire.
