Today I went to see the Masjid Kristal. I have seen enough mosques, but I am glad I went to see this one. It's made from glass, mirrors, and plexiglass I think. You take one of those 'wooden buses' as they call them here - bus number C-02. One Ringgit and it takes you to the mosque in less than half an hour. The buses are infrequent, so I stayed there for three hours. It was worth it, although the park where they have miniatures of mosques around the world has been closed. Asked why - it's Ramadan. I can't see the connection, as with restaurants. If people don't eat, then it makes sense to keep restaurants closed. But why this was closed? No idea.. other than 'it's Ramadan'.
