PART 3: Back on the road - South East Asia.
Route Map Penang, Malaysia » September 11, 2010 Continuing from the previous page... I went on to explore the next temple. The whole complex is called Kek Lok Si Temple, but it's not just one big temple, but a few smaller ones. All are a bit different. Photo: Penang, Malaysia. Kek Lok Si Temple. A pass to the next upper level temple. Photo: Penang, Malaysia. Kek Lok Si Temple. The first thing you will see after entering are raws of countless Buddhas. All around the temple. Photo: Penang, Malaysia. Kek Lok Si Temple. Photo: Penang, Malaysia. Kek Lok Si Temple. There is a golden statue of sitting Buddah inside the temple. With so many Buddhas all over already, I just opted for an alternative view of one of the smaller ones. Photo: Penang, Malaysia. Kek Lok Si Temple. Me with the pagoda in the background. I left that part of the temple and moved on to see the pagoda. The entrance cost 2 Ringgit, which is basically symbolic. The rest of the temple is free to see and explore. The photos and the story continues on the next page. My life has always been about freedom and I shall continue to walk this path. Safe travels ! ........... Stan Check out my Photography Portfolio |
